    • Catherine was married to Capt. William Roper and had two children, William and Verlinda. Capt. Roper died in Jan 1650 and she married Thomas Sprigg by March 1650.

      The estate of Capt. Roper was given to Verlinda in a March 1650 estate hearing to which she would receive it upon the earlier of her 17th birthday or marriage. There is no mention of William Jr. in the estate hearing, nor is he noted as to moving to MD with Thomas Sprigg in 1658, however Verlinda is and is presumably a minor.
