Sprigg, Congressman Joseph, b. 1736, Baltimore, MD d. 8 Nov 1800, Calvert Co., Maryland (Age 64 years) |
| Marriage |
1760 |
| Notes |
- Significant more detail about Joseph is discussed shallowly in the 18-FEB-1906 Baltimore Sun. Very complicated as it seems that Joseph married 3 widows, each coming from with children, some of whom appropriated the Sprigg name.
A later such son, Samuel was adopted by his brother Osborne (Jr), whom had no children of his own. Samuel Sprigg eventually became the 17th governor of Maryland in the early 1800's.
